Sherrill comes to us with lots of experience, she was previously an assistant coach at Dickinson College for the past four years. Sherrill lead the defensive unit during her time at Dickinson. This includes first year goalkeeper, Peyton VanDorpe, who led the conference in ground balls from all players not just goalkeepers (2023)

Sherrill also coached three 2021 IWLCA All-Metro Region, 3 2022 All-Centennial players, 3 2023 All-Centennial and 2 All-Metro Region players at Dickinson.

While at Dickinson she also was one of four Campus Coordinators for Covid 19.

Prior to joining the Dickinson staff in 2019, Sherrill was an assistant at Babson College for two years. She helped lead the Beavers to a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship in 2018, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Babson made a repeat appearance in the NEWMAC Championship in 2019.

During her two years at Babson, the Beavers received Defensive Player of the Year honors in both 2018 and 2019, adding Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. Head Coach Michelle Smith was named the NEWMAC Coach of the Year last season as Babson produced 11 All-Conference selections with nine players receiving First-team recognition in the past two seasons. Seven players would receive All-Region honors while Lexi Lenaghan was named an All-American during Sherrill's tenure.

A 2017 graduate of Hamilton College, Sherrill was a four-year defender on the Continentals' women's lacrosse team. Competing in the NESCAC conference, Hamilton received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament twice in Sherrill's time.

She graduated with honors from Hamilton, earning a B.A. in Art with a minor in educational studies. She went on to earn a M.A.T. in Art Education from Tufts University in 2019.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Sherrill has coached HS club lacrosse for Queen City Stars (Now Ultimate CLT), Central Mass, and 3D New England.
