Jordan Bowers

Jordan Bowers finished her first season as the head women's lacrosse coach. Guilford went 3-13 overall with a conference record of 1-7.


Bowers returned to Guilford after leading the women's lacrosse program at Catawba College for eight seasons from August 2012 through September 2020. Between Catawba and Guilford, she was an assistant coach at U-32 High School in East Montpelier, Vermont.


Over eight seasons, Bowers led the Catawba Indians to a 62-65 record with two seasons winning over 11 games. She led Catawba to two South Atlantic Conference (SAC) tournaments including making it to the semifinals in 2018. Additionally, Bowers coached three SAC Freshman of the Year honorees and over 42 All-Conference members.


Prior to Catawba, Bowers was an assistant coach at Pfeiffer University from 2010-2012 and an assistant coach for Guilford from 2009-10. In her playing career, Bowers started every game she played in at Guilford and was named All-ODAC all four years.


In the record books at Guilford, Bowers ranks 10th in career points, 11th in goals and tied for seventh in assists. In 2006, she was a Team USA member for the Down Under Challenge and was part of the National Tournament in 2005 on the Southeast Super Region Team.


Bowers graduated from Guilford in 2008 with a bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Psychology.

Becki Haislip

Becki Haislip ’99 returned to Guilford College during the 2019 season as an assistant coach after her successful career as a four-year starting defender in 1996-1999. She stands 12th in Guilford’s history in ground balls and earned Guilford’s Best Team Player award during her senior year. A Physical Education major, Haislip graduated from Guilford in 1999. She continued her academic career at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned a master’s of education degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She also has a master’s degree from Appalachian State University in school administration. Haislip has coached at nearby Western Guilford High School since 2002 and was the head coach of the North Carolina Chapter of US Lacrosse from 2009-2012. She has served as the Academic All-American Committee chair for the same organization since 2009. Haislip has coached multiple lacrosse clubs in the area, including the Greensboro Select Lacrosse Club, LB3 Lacrosse Club, and NC Elite Lacrosse Club. She is a founder and director of the Triad Lacrosse Club. Haislip works for Guilford County Schools as the K-12 Physical Education and Health Supervisor.
