Wei Chenh

The 2023 season will be Wei Chenh's first as the Foresters' head coach and second with the team.

Chenh assisted the head coach in all aspects of the program in 2021-22. She spearheaded the training of Forester goalie and MWLC Defensive Player of the Year Calliope Saban as well as coordination, speed, and agility training for the entire team. The Foresters posted an overall record of 11-4 and prevailed in all five of their Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference games to capture the league title. They also advanced to the final of the MWLC Tournament before falling in overtime.

In addition to coaching at the College, Chenh was also Director of Event Operations and Equipment and Midwest Select Head Coach at Lakeshore Lacrosse and has been with the organization since 2012. Under Chenh's direction, the club's top team won approximately 75 percent of its games.

Chenh's recent coaching experience also includes four seasons (2018-21) as the varsity head coach at Latin School of Chicago. She also spent four years as an assistant coach at Robert Morris University, where she helped the Eagles capture a National Women's Lacrosse League championship in 2014.

A graduate of Lane Tech High School and Lindenwood University, Chenh was an All-State selection and three-time team MVP in high school and led her college team in scoring as a freshman.

Chenh owns Level 1 and Level 2 U.S. Lacrosse coaching certifications.
