Kerrie Brown

Kerrie Brown was named as the fifth head coach in Marywood University women's lacrosse program history in 2018. She also serves as the department's Academic Compliance Coordinator.


Brown brings experience as an assistant coach at four institutions at all three NCAA levels. She served as an assistant coach for seven years at Pfeiffer University, College at Brockport, St. John Fisher College, and Mercer University. At the Division III level, she took her teams to the NCAA tournament in each of her five seasons.


For the past two years, Brown was a coaching coordinator with Victor Youth Lacrosse in Victor, N.Y. Additionally, she was the head coach of the Lady Roc Lacrosse club program in Rochester, N.Y.


Brown began her career at then-Division II Pfeiffer University in Miseheimer, N.C. The Falcons finished 11-7 (.611) under her tutelage, and Brown was responsible for daily practices, game plans, and recruitment.


She then took College of Brockport to its second NCAA Division III tournament bid in program history in 2011.


For the next four seasons, Brown was an assistant coach at St. John Fisher College, leading the Cardinals to four consecutive Empire 8 championships. Between 2012 and 2015, St. John Fisher advanced to the NCAA Second Round four times. She was also St. John Fisher's athletics equipment manager from 2013 to 2015.


Brown went on to the Division I level as an assistant coach at Mercer University in Macon, Ga. from 2015 to 2016. She oversaw the team's recruiting and database systems, and worked with academic affairs for the students.


Additionally, she was a youth care professional in Rochester for the past two years. She served as a personnel supervisor for the Buffalo Bills training camp.


Brown earned many accolades in her Division II playing career at St. Andrews University in Laurinberg, N.C. She was a womenslacrosse.com All-American Rookie team member and First-Team All-Conference. During her sophomore season, Brown earned IWLCA/US Women’s Lacrosse All-Regions honors. Her senior year campaign earned her IWLCA/US Women’s Lacrosse Second Team All-America, IWLCA/US Women’s Lacrosse First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference. A talented soccer player as well, Brown won a NJCAA Division I National Championship with Monroe Community College.


Brown holds a bachelor degree in physical education from St. Andrews University (then St. Andrews Presbyterian College).
