Kristin Concordia

Kristin Concordia enters her fourth season as the head coach of the Roberts Wesleyan College women's lacrosse program. Appointed the fourth head coach in program history in July of 2015, Concordia spend the previous two season as an assistant coach at Roberts.

Concordia is stepping up the recruitment by bringing in eight new faces for the 2018-2019 season. The most in program history.

Finishing 9-9 overall and 3-4 in the conference in 2018, the lady Redhawks were able to clinch an East Coast Conference tournament berth for the second consecutive year. Under Concordia, Roberts placed three players on ECC All-Conference team. Freshman Midfielder, Emily Tomei, undoubtedly earned ECC Rookie of the Year with 44 goals, 16 assists, 60 total points, .800 shot on goal percentage, 2 game winning goals, 43 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers and 60 draw controls. Taylor Nathan, another groundbreaking freshman midfielder, earned ECC 2nd Team and Victoria Greco, sophomore goalkeeper, earned ECC 2nd Team as well.

In 2017, Concordia's squad entered the East Coast Tournament for the first time in program history at the fourth seed, after predicted at pre-season 6th seed. Roberts finished the season 7-11 overall and 4-4 in the conference. The Redhawks placed two players on ECC All-Conference teams: Senior attacker, Cassley Jackowski (All-Conference First Team) and Senior goalkeeper, Shannon Knapp (All-Conference Second Team). Under Concordia, Cassley Jackowski put forth an outstanding campaign, leading the ECC and NCAA Division II in goals per game with 4.61, total goals with 83, points per game with 6.56, and total points with 118. Jackowski's success also earned her IWLCA Division II All-American 3rd team, IWLCA Division II All-Region 2nd team, IWLCA Division II Fast Break Offensive Player of the Week, and Division II Hero of the Week.

2016, Concordia helped Roberts placed two offensive players at the top off the ECC for goals and overall points. Roberts Wesleyan was also in contention for a spot in the ECC tournament for most of the season as they finished just two games out of the fourth and final spot. The team finished with a 3-5 mark in conference action and a 6-9 record overall.

A 2012 graduate of Siena College, Concordia was the starting goalkeeper for her 4 years. She appeared in 63 games (all 63 starts) for the Saints registering 133 ground balls, 35 caused turnovers, 527 saves and a .403 save percentage, earning herself many MAAC preseason and postseason accolades.

Concordia earned her B.S in Psychology from Siena and was awarded her M.S in Sports Administrations from Canisius College. A Native of Rochester, NY., Concordia played at Webster Thomas High School where she helped her team win a Section V Championship title her sophomore year.

Peter Bell

Native of nearby Webster, N.Y., Peter Bell is entering his third full season as offensive coordinator for the Roberts Wesleyan College women’s lacrosse team.

Bell has been surrounded by the game of lacrosse for many years. As a 1986 graduate of Webster Schroeder High School, Bell played eight years of men’s lacrosse. He then directed his focus from boy's to girl's lacrosse to coach his daughter, who has been recruited to play at Central Michigan. Peter coached at Webster Schroeder HS for four years, which the last two were as an assistant varsity coach. Bell also helped start Common Goal Lacrosse Club, a well-known girls' lacrosse club in Rochester, where he served as head coach for 2018 class and currently helping assist at the 2020 level.

“I understood that if I wanted to take my team to the next level I needed to bring in a great offensive mind,” said head coach Kristian Concordia. “Pete has such great knowledge and passion for the game and I knew right away that the team and I would benefit from him being a part of our Roberts family.”

Last season, under Pete, freshman midfielder Emily Tomei earned ECC Rookie of the Year and ECC 2nd Team. He also helped stand-out freshman midfielder Taylor Nathan earn ECC 2nd Team.

In 2017, Pete helped guide two attackers to the top of the ECC in scoring. Cassley Jackowski led the conference in scoring (51 goals) while finishing third in overall points (69) earning herself ECC All-Conference First team; Loren Dunn finished right behind Jackowski in ECC scoring tied for second with 49 goals and earning ECC Second Team.
