Laura Jordan

Laura Jordan enters her third year in 2023 as the Head Coach for the Shorter University Women’s Lacrosse Program.

During her 2022-2023 season Jordan had multiple players again ranked in the top ten for statistical categories in the GSC conference. She coached goalie Sydney Jones to be ranked number one in the country for saves. Jones also set two school records for saves in a game and total saves in a season.

During her 2021-2022 season Jordan led the Hawks to three wins, which was the most seen in over three years. She had multiple players ranked top ten in statistical categories in the GSC conference. She brought in the biggest recruiting class in program history with 13 players.

Prior to being hired by the Hawks, Jordan served as Director of Lacrosse for Harrison High School, a 7A school in metro Atlanta. She led the Lady Hoyas to an 8-1 record in 2020 before the season was cut short. Jordan also coaches for Eagle Stix Lacrosse, the number one ranked lacrosse club in the south, leading each of her teams to winning seasons for five years running.

Coach Jordan was a four-year defensive starter for Kennesaw State University Women's Lacrosse where she holds two school records: most caused turnovers in a single season and most caused turnovers in program history.

Jordan holds a BS in Sport Management from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s in Sport Administration from Georgia State University.

"Coaching is my passion and I am so excited to be able to lead the Shorter Women’s lacrosse program to greatness."

The site worked great for the tournaments I used it for. I had many coaches respond to my contacting them. The site helped me develop confidence in getting through the recruiting process.
